Most find this fear irrational and strange
They stare blankly at me or with questioning faces
It’s not in the normal list of things to fear
But this is mine and it scares me a lot
Some *okay most* people laugh at me for it
And most just think I’m joking
I fear clowns and the darkness – but they don’t compare
The thing that scares me the most is petty
It’s hardly frightening to most everybody else
But it is the thing I find deathly horrifying
The mere thought of it sends shivers down my spine
It covers my body with chilling goose bumps
And just the mentioning of the word makes me cringe
But I can’t help my insane fear of…

I wanted to find what the scientific word for a phobia of egg plant is... but I had no luck. if you find it PLEASE tell me!

There is no real name for a fear of eggplants. However, you could call it melongenaphobia. Solanum melongena is the scientific name for eggplants.

Yeah, I looked it up, and there's no real word for the "Fear of eggplants." But this was interesting, kind of reminded me of a Shel Silverstein poem.

Nope, I can't find a name for egg-plant phobia. Best I could find is Lachanophobia - fear of vegetables. :D

Okay, Lol. This was interesting. Made me laugh but thats not nice of me if you have a genuine fear of eggplants. I guess you could call it eggplantaphobia?

I'm not telling the world if I really have a fear of egg plants or not.

it's funny when people can't figure it out. and if there's the people that make fun of me for it. so I just say nothing about this topic.
